Reality Check

Sometimes it's all too easy to get caught up in the beautiful drama that is my life. When I'm on top, I feel invincible; it's as if nothing could go wrong for me or for anyone around me. We're all protected by the light radiating from my rose tinted glasses. All it takes is one bad thing to happen, then you wake up to reality and realise how fragile life is. You can't abuse it, you can't assume your good luck will last. At some point the glasses have to come off, with the ugly truth so close to your face that you can't ignore it.
