That wasn't particularly pleasant - a Brazilian wax never gets any easier for me. On my legs, the hairs do as they're told and get finer and weaker each time I ruthlessly rip them out. My bikini line however refuses to numb, and the follicles hate me more with every warm strip. I can never see anyone on the same day because I'm sore and feeling delicate. I can't go to the gym or in the sauna, so I might just creep back into bed and read a book.
I was pondering another kind of wax that the barman mentioned on the phone - one of the few things I've never tried. He's curious about dripping hot candle wax on each other's bodies, as it's supposed to give you a kick. He offered to let me do it on him first in case it hurts, but I'm still a bit apprehensive... anyone else tried it before?

Something I want to try as well. Its mentioned in a book I bought. Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns. I think you are supposed to try it on yourself first so that was good of him to offer to be first.
ReplyDeleteI have tried it once long ago; I was applying the candle wax. Let the wax drip down from a height. Increase the height to reduce the temperature of the falling wax, bring it closer to the target for more 'burn'. It is a messy business...
ReplyDeleteMyself and the receiver only did it once. She enjoyed the pain but the mess discouraged subsequent play.
