Suffering for Beauty

It's that time again where I must go through excruciating pain to stay smooth and lovely. Some girls say that waxing doesn't really hurt that much, but I must disagree! It has been several years since my first Brazilian now, and although I have broken the rules by shaving between appointments on occasion, it isn't becoming any less painful. I grit my teeth and bear it, because not only am I incredibly vain, but it's also expected of me in this profession.

What also helps to get me through that unpleasant half hour is the thought of how delicious I will be tomorrow. Perfectly smooth, asking to be stroked and licked... I'd say it's just about worth it.

Now I'm becoming impatient for the weekend to arrive so I can have my wicked way with one lucky gentleman. Wish me luck!

  1. Ugh. You just inadvertently answered a question. They LIE!!! I've only just begun waxing and was waiting for the pain to one day subside. :( But you are right, the results are almost worth it.

  2. Hmmm...not sure if it's expected of you in this profession. I've never waxed (always shaved bald), and never had anyone comment or not see me again because I did not wax.

    ;) It's all your personal choice...haha

  3. Ah, I mean keeping on top of the hair removal is expected in this profession... women 50 years ago didn't have this problem! xx

  4. Waxing = Pain there is no way around that, well unless you are sedated or completely drunk off your ass. I am so glad I found your blog.

    Sincerely following.

  5. Thanks BeMistified, always nice to have new readers! Paracetamol didn't make any difference during the wax, next time I'll try vodka! x
